Quick answer:

Submit your Tranche 1 cases by 11:59 PM on the 7th of the following month.

Missed it? You can still submit. Those cases are included in the next month’s SAP1 instead. Nothing is lost, the payment just comes about a month later.

The monthly cut-off:

PhilHealth computes Tranche 1 from everything uploaded by 11:59 PM on the 7th. On the 8th, PhilHealth generates the SAP1.

FPEs done inSubmit byIncluded in the SAP1 generated on
SeptemberOctober 7, 11:59 PMOctober 8
OctoberNovember 7, 11:59 PMNovember 8
NovemberDecember 7, 11:59 PMDecember 8
DecemberJanuary 7, 11:59 PMJanuary 8

And so on for each month.

PhilHealth releases the payment within 60 days after the 8th, as long as your records were successfully uploaded and passed PhilHealth’s validation.

Tip: Aim to submit a few days early so you're not rushing near the cutoff.

If you submit after the cut-off

Yes, you can still submit.

PhilHealth generates the SAP1 only once a month. Any FPE that was not paid because it was uploaded late is automatically included in the next SAP1. You don’t need to do anything extra.

Example: An FPE done on September 25 but submitted on October 10 misses the October 8 SAP1. It is included in the November 8 SAP1 instead, and paid within 60 days after November 8.

One limit: records from a previous year

Late records roll over within the year. Records from a past year are a different story.

PhilHealth’s system no longer accepts records with effectivity year 2025 or earlier. If you try, you will see:

The deadline for submission of records with effectivity year 2025 or earlier has passed.
  • If the visit is really from 2025: check with your LHIO before trying again.
  • If the visit is from 2026 and you still see this error: the record itself is usually tagged with the wrong year, which is fixable. See: Case submission errors: common causes and fixes. If it still won’t go through, message us and we’ll check it with you.

How to stay ahead of the cut-off

  1. Submit daily. PhilHealth itself recommends uploading daily. Go to PhilHealth › Submit Cases in SMD YAKAP. See: How to submit Tranche 1 or Tranche 2 cases.
  2. Check for Success. Look for the Success status in Submission History. That means PhilHealth received it.
  3. Submit the SAP Generation Form. The cut-off covers your data upload only. Once all of the month’s submissions show Success, pass the form to your LHIO. See: Do I still need to submit the SAP Generation Form after submitting cases through SMD YAKAP?
  4. Check which cases made it in. See: How to see which cases were included in your Tranche 1 or Tranche 2 submission.

What about Tranche 2?

Tranche 2 is once a year. Submit your complete data by 11:59 PM on January 7 of the following year. PhilHealth generates the SAP2 on January 8 and releases the payment within 60 days after.
